randomness

Just a few random photos ...

My dorks on old people day.

After attending every football practice all season with his bum elbow,
Tyler was finally able to play in the last two games of the season.
Go #9!

The sweetest basketball player on any court - ever.

The NOT so sweet football player.  This kid is ruthless!
He loved playing flag-football.

i heart insurance

Over the summer we had two fun events.
Tyler dislocated his right elbow during football practice two weeks before school started.
The first two pics are about an hour after it happened.

My poor little fella.

This was taken later that night.
It was swollen like this for almost a week.

Some of the lovely coloring.

A few days before the dislocation,
Kyle complained of a bug bite gone spazzoid.
Ya think?
It ended up  being a pretty severe case of staph.
He had to non-weight bear for three days - so was on crutches.

Truly grateful for insurance!

summer fun!

These pictures are in no particular order.
It's hard to believe another summer has come and gone.  Here are just a few highlights...

Kyle and Tyler had the awesome opportunity to attend high adventure with their church scout group and go river rafting down the Colorado River.

Our sweetest Halliday's from Mesa came to visit.  So proud of the olders for taking
a morning to attend the temple together!

Kyle and his two cousins went on an amazing trip to Williamsburg with their Gigi and Bubs.

More fun with the cousins.
Don't ask.  I dont' know.

Williamsburg fun.
Oh- there has been many a day where this contraption would have come in handy at my house.

Cutest girls E-V-E-R!

A most special day! My oldest baby baptized my youngest baby.

I might need a new dress...

When Tyler was baptized, I bought a new floral dress.
When Kyle was baptized three years later, I didn't realize until I compared the pictures that I had
worn the same floral dress for his special day.
A tradition was born.
A year later, I pulled old flowery out of the closet for Maddie's special day.
I had the great privilege of whipping out that floral beauty for one last run this past summer when my baby Rydge was baptized.
My kids think I'm embarrassing.
I think I'm awesome.
What do you think? :)
